I have a BSc degree in Microbiology and Biochemistry and I’m currently completing my Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), as I work towards becoming a qualified teacher. Tutoring gives me the opportunity to help students reach their potential while allowing me to continue growing as an educator. I value the one-on-one connection tutoring offers—it’s rewarding to see learners gain confidence and improve with each lesson.

I chose to start tutoring because it allows me to combine my love for science with the flexibility to manage my studies and work. Tutoring not only provides me with valuable teaching experience, but also helps me support myself financially while making a real difference in learners’ academic journeys.
I’m most confident in Life Sciences (Grades 10–12) and Natural Sciences (Grades 7–9), though I can also assist with Physical Sciences, in Afrikaans or English. I enjoy breaking down complex ideas into simple, practical explanations that help students truly understand and enjoy what they’re learning.
