Training and experience A fully qualified (PGCE) maths teacher in one of the top London colleges delivering maths to all levels. 10 years experience in teaching secondary mathematics in the UK and international schools in Europe and Central Asia. 10 years tutoring experience abroad and in the UK. 5 years experience teaching ESOL and EFL in Europe, Central Asia and the UK 5 years experience as a manager and a partner of a training centre delivering ICT, Double Science, English as Foreign Language and Office Skills 6 years experience in teaching and supporting students with special needs including autism and dyslexia

I teach KS2, KS3 and GCSE maths, AS/A level Maths Maths BTEC, Functional Skills Maths for SEN and students that don't have English as their first language What qualifications do I prepare my students for? 11+ GCSE Maths Functional Skills L1 and L2 Maths A-Level Maths What ages do I teach? 9 - 18+ Where do I teach? Currently I am conducting lessons in my own home or online lessons using Zoom, MS Teams and other platforms How much do I charge? Reasonable fees starting from £25 for small groups for KS2/KS3 maths or English: £25 for small groups GCSE maths and GCSE revision GCSE maths - will consider teaching two students with prior arrangement at a combined rate Individual session price £50 GCSE £60 A Level Maths All arrangements include: Diagnostic Assessment with detailed feedback Homework packs All teaching resources All test resources Ongoing formative assessment and feedback What is your availability? Flexible, I have spaces available atm Message for prospective students: I have a proven track of record of students achieving qualifications and progressing to further studies that they had hoped to achieve. I have students that had been home educated and achieved GCSE (9-1) grade 6 within 9 months from predicted Grade 3. I had an overseas student that hadn't had any secondary mathematic tuition prior to our lessons and then achieved GCSE Maths Grade 7 in June just in 10 months Some of my students excelled to grades 8 and 9 within 9 months from predicted grades 5 and 6 About 60% of the students that I taught in overseas secondary schools have graduated from top American universities About 40% of the students that I taught in the classes at my current place of work are enrolled in London universities Most of my recent tutees have gone on to study A-Levels in Maths and Sciences, and Higher Education. Qualifications I have a BSc degree in Management and Economics from an overseas university that has been officially recognised as a UK equivalent degree by NARIC I am a fully qualified teacher (PGCE) and have an Additional Diploma in teaching Mathematics. I have a CELTA Certificate (Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) I am a member of NCETM: National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics, Society for Education and Training and the Association of Teachers of Mathematics Advanced Practitioner Certificate, University of Sunderland PGCert Psychology, University of Derby
