Ian was an excellent teacher. He provided me with multiple sheet music to practice from and showed me many techniques which was very helpful. I was able to start playing a simple groove pretty quickly!

I knew him from middle school but we never really talked. I knew he was a drummer which caught my interest since I was thinking of playing. However, I didn’t start playing until a few years later in high school. When I did I learned from him for about seven months.
Ian is laid back and has a structured teaching style. He encourages you to come up with your own vocabulary/ideas.

I have been a friend of Ian for a very long time. Me myself is an English teacher and also a voice teacher, though Ian sometime could be not as loud and expressive as i am, whenever he speaks, he speak with weight and depth. On top of that. He is a man with great morality, All these years i've known him he has always put me back onto the right track when i make mistakes. also, he id one of the finest musician i have ever known, not just a drummer but a musician. He loves his craft, not for fame or anything but the art itself, and that is nobel.Based on these information that I have provided honestly, i do recommend him to be a teacher that works with your organization.
