About Stella
I was born and raised in China and grew up speaking Mandarin as my first language. I’ve now lived in the United States for over 20 years, which allows me to understand both languages and cultures deeply. I still speak Mandarin regularly with family and friends back in China, so the language remains a natural and active part of my life.
Professionally, I work in finance, where clear communication and precision are essential—skills I bring into my teaching. I’ve also always had a passion for teaching, having tutored students since my school years. I enjoy helping others learn in a way that feels intuitive, practical, and engaging
