About LIPing

Hello, I’m a native Mandarin speaker and am also fluent in Cantonese. I am a graduate of Communication University of China, where I majored in Broadcasting and Hosting.

My professional training included standard Mandarin pronunciation, voice production, public speaking, reading aloud and spoken expression. I have many years of experience as a professional presenter, as well as experience training others in presenting, public speaking and communication skills. I also have experience in Chinese poetry recitation, expressive speaking and Chinese cultural etiquette.

I am currently teaching Chinese at Chinese Culture Australia, where I teach Mandarin to students in an Australian learning environment.

Because of my professional broadcasting background, I pay particular attention to clear pronunciation, correct tones, natural expression and speaking confidence. I believe learning Chinese is not only about memorising vocabulary and grammar — students should also feel comfortable and confident using the language in real communication.

About the lesson

What makes my lessons different is my strong focus on clear pronunciation, correct tones, natural expression and speaking confidence. With my broadcasting background, I can help students notice and correct pronunciation problems that are often difficult to identify on their own.

I teach both children and adults, from beginners to students who already have some Chinese experience.

My lessons can include:
