About MUBASH'SHIR

As a dedicated and accomplished academic researcher, I bring over ten years of extensive experience to the intersection of Physics and Philosophy. My career is distinguished by a consistent track record of conducting cutting-edge research, contributing to peer-reviewed journals, and securing competitive grant funding. My reputation as a mentor to students and a collaborative partner in multidisciplinary teams is a testament to my commitment to fostering academic excellence and innovation.

My research acumen is complemented by my teaching prowess, evidenced by my tenure as a Physics and Mathematics teacher at the British School Muscat. In this role, I crafted tailored lesson plans, embraced technology to enrich the learning experience, and maintained impeccable student records. I also ensured effective communication with parents and cultivated an inclusive, high-achieving classroom environment.

My academic journey began with a Major in Philosophy from the Central University of Hyderabad, where I achieved a CGPA of 8.8, followed by a Minor in B.Tech Electronics and Communication from Jamia Hamdard with a CGPA of 8.3. I furthered my technical expertise with a Diploma in Electronics Engineering from Jamia Millia Islamia in 2014. My quest for knowledge led me to pursue certifications in AI from Accenture, courses in History of Psychology and Sensation and Perception from Monash University, and studies in Kabbalah and the philosophical foundations of the Indian knowledge system from the University of Mumbai.

My academic pursuits have been enriched by a focus on the Metaphysics of Self, Analytical thinking, Phenomenological Approach, Logic and Rhetoric, and active participation in Research and Academic activities at Jamia Hamdard and Central University of Hyderabad. My skill set is further enhanced by proficiencies in PLC-SCADA Programming, C/C++, and MS Excel.

Reflecting on my academic transcripts from the University of Hyderabad, my Master of Arts (Philosophy) program showcases a journey of growth and resilience. Despite an initial setback in Formal Logic, I demonstrated a remarkable turnaround, achieving an 'A' in the supplementary examination. My SGPA trajectory, ranging from zero to 8.81, underscores my ability to overcome challenges and achieve excellence.

I have also engaged with online courses on Digital Skills: Artificial Intelligence from Accenture, Introduction to Psychology: The History and Science of Psychology, and Introduction to Psychology: Sensation and Perception from Monash University, consistently achieving high average test scores.

About the lesson

As an educator, I believe in the transformative power of integrating philosophical principles into my daily teaching practice. By employing Socratic questioning, I encourage my students to explore their beliefs and values, fostering a culture of critical thinking in the classroom. Through discussions, I engage my students in meaningful dialogues that respect diverse viewpoints and develop their reasoning skills. Critical thinking exercises are a cornerstone of my teaching, as they equip students with the ability to analyze arguments, identify logical fallacies, and construct their own reasoned arguments—skills that are essential in and beyond the classroom. I also strive to make cross-curricular connections, showing students how philosophical concepts are woven into every subject, from science to literature. Introducing students to primary philosophical texts, even in accessible excerpts, helps demystify the subject and make it more relatable.
