About Ravleen
Hi, I'm Ravleen!
I'm an LSE Law graduate with a passion for helping students achieve their full potential. Throughout my own education, I discovered that having the right teacher can completely transform your confidence and enjoyment of a subject. That's what inspired me to become a tutor.
I understand that English can sometimes feel overwhelming, whether it's analysing texts, writing essays, mastering grammar or preparing for exams. My goal is to make learning approachable, engaging and enjoyable by breaking down difficult concepts into simple, manageable steps. I believe every student is capable of succeeding with the right support and encouragement.
Alongside my academic background, I have experience tutoring both school and university students. I currently teach English through ClassTutors, where I've helped students improve their test scores through personalised lessons tailored to their individual learning styles and goals. Seeing students grow in confidence, begin to enjoy the subject and achieve results they once thought were out of reach is the most rewarding part of tutoring for me.
My lessons are friendly, supportive and completely judgement-free. I encourage students to ask questions, make mistakes and develop the confidence to think independently. Whether you're looking to improve your reading and writing skills, prepare for GCSEs or A-Levels, or simply become a more confident English student, I'm committed to helping you every step of the way.

I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor every lesson to their individual needs, learning style and goals. Whether a student is aiming to improve confidence, strengthen core English skills or achieve top grades in exams, I create structured lessons that focus on steady, measurable progress.
My teaching combines clear explanations with active learning. Rather than simply giving answers, I encourage students to think critically, ask questions and develop the skills to solve problems independently. Lessons typically include a review of previous content, introduction of new concepts, guided practice, exam-style questions and constructive feedback to reinforce learning and track progress.
For students preparing for GCSEs or A-Levels, I place particular emphasis on exam technique, essay writing, textual analysis, grammar and time management. For younger students, I focus on building strong foundations in reading comprehension, vocabulary, spelling, creative writing and confidence.
I hold an LLB (Hons) in Law from the London School of Economics (LSE). Alongside my academic background, I currently tutor students through ClassTutors, where I have helped students improve their test scores by an average of 10–15% through personalised lesson planning, targeted revision and continuous progress monitoring.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and are delivered online in an interactive, supportive environment. I teach KS2, KS3, GCSE and A-Level English, adapting every session to suit the student's ability, pace and objectives.
