About Annie
I graduated with an English Literature degree from Kingston University in 2018 and am currently in my first year of a PhD in English Literature. I'm now keen to broaden the minds of young pupils currently in education. I am passionate about 'traditional teaching' particularly when it comes to English Language, i.e. focusing on the importance of grammar and punctuation, enunciation and tone.
I teach English Language, English Literature and History at levels ranging from secondary to GCSE, (and A Level in English only). I modify my lesson plans according to the student's individual needs and take into account specific exam boards.
I generally only do 2 hour slots or longer, I don't offer 60 min slots on their own as in my experience it's too short of a time period to explore a topic in depth. Lessons via Zoom, Teams or Skype are preferable due to COVID.

I teach English Language, English Literature and History at levels ranging from secondary to GCSE, (and A Level in English only). I modify my lesson plans according to the student's individual needs and take into account specific exam boards.
History tuition is varied depending on the student's exam board and individual needs. A typical two hour lesson will often include a lesson theme, an exploratory part of the session where we draw on sources and discuss, written tasks, and a debate if possible. However, my specialist areas include 20th century Western civilisation, World War I and II and the Soviet Union.

Details
Lessons are £20/h or 10 hours for £165.
