I strive to help students learn to love learning. In order to accomplish this, I first discover what is their preferred learning style. Is it more visual? Or maybe they prefer something more artistic or creative? In order to teach a student effectively, knowing what teaching style they respond to is critical. My teaching style is based on the belief that true learning is achieved through understanding rather than memorisation. To do this, I prefer to not only teach students the content but how it applies and relates to their lives.
