About Nat
I'm an American multi-disciplinary artist with an associate degree in Performing Arts from the Kim Dawson Conservatory in Dallas Texas, furthering my undergraduate studies with a focus on Literature, & the Japanese language at Bennington College in Vermont. This interdisciplinary background helps me bring an abundance of creativity, to my writing, and to yours.

I will give comprehensive & constructive feedback on your creative writing. My aim is to help you gain confidence in your work --whatever stage of the process it's in, primarily by using the Liz Lerman method of critique: (1) Sharing what I find meaningful, exciting, and interesting about your piece, (2) responding to specific questions that you have about the piece, (3) asking neutral questions that percolated when I read your piece, & (4) sharing my opinions with you, should you like to hear them.
Writing is a delicate process, when you share your work with me I commit to meeting it with the dignity and curiosity that it deserves.
These sessions are for writers at any level, as the scale between lesson and workshop can slide depending on your desired approach. I specialize in poetry and playwriting, and I also have a significant relationship with short stories and advertising copy. If you're writing in a different form I will still be excited to work with you, but let's have a conversation before you book so we can make sure that I'm the right person for the job.
