About Laura
I am a MA English Literature graduate who studied at Edinburgh University. I have been tutoring students since 2016 and I also have experience working in the publishing industry. I specialised in creative writing at university and earned a first for that semester. I am also proud to say that everyone that I have assisted writing a cover letter or personal statement for a job or academic application was accepted.

Personally, I don't learn a subject very easily unless I find it interesting, engaging, and even fun! So lessons are informal, personable, and catered to your individual wants and needs. The best way to integrate information is truly to teach- so I expect our lessons to be a symbiosis and for my students to grasp new concepts well enough to be able to relay the information back to me by the end of each session.

I am happy to travel for lessons, and will charge an additional 45p per mile to cover my petrol.
