I base my classes around pieces of literature and classic writers (for example Fitzgerald, Brönte, Austen) who appear in the school curriculum, alongside more obscure or modern texts that people won’t come across in schools. Using fantastic texts, we can start discussions about characterisation, language, and meaning, and set tasks that will help improve your written communication, long-essay writing, and comprehension skills.
