About Alice
I'm a graduate of Linguistics and Nigerian Languages. Learning a new language as an L2 may prove difficult for the learner but having studied the complexities of language and theories surrounding the acquisition of a second language, it will be easier to break down language in easier and lay terms for the second language learner. I'm Ms. Alice and I believe I can positively and meticulously help L2 learners still struggling with the English language.

Understanding language means having basic competency in the grammar of the language, which includes the phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics of the language. Having the knowledge of the phonology of a language, will enable you break the common errors that occur while speaking as an L2 learner. Our lessons will work you through the sounds of the English language and the phonotactics of the language which will guarantee that your speaking skills will improve over the course of our lessons. Our lessons also cover the oddities in the orthography of the English language which will bridge the gap between speaking (phonology) and writing (orthography) of the language. Bridging this gap will ensure the L2 learner will be able to identify correct pronunciations of words that their orthographic forms seemingly do not correspond with their phonetic symbols.
