About Ash
A language learning student by training and linguist nerd by hobby, I am not only skilled in language, I’m skilled in learning languages and how different people learn the most effectively. Teaching language is a personal love of mine and this is a way for me to be able to do so even without the traditional classroom setting. I have a history in learning many languages. While I may not consistently upkeep a lot of these languages, I will review and learn whatever I need to before your lesson.

Our first lesson will be me finding out about your motivations for language learning as well as your learning style. This first lesson will give me the groundwork to create the perfect personalized plan to teach you Korean! Our first lessons will be learning the alphabet, how to write it, and how to recognize it. These lessons are for complete beginners, but we can progress to whatever level you need to as you get better and better! We will teach you personalized and pertinent topics to your life. There will be homework and tests and assignments but only for the aspect of practice, these grades mean nothing and should not stress you out! We will practice speaking between us, I will give you reading and writing assignments as well.

As friends during high school and as someone who is NOT linguistically gifted, I struggled a lot in school with language classes. Even if it wasn’t a topic they needed to know or were familiar with, they would learn and teach it to me and it worked! Very good teacher!
We know each other through school and I’ve seen them putting together lesson plans and it is honestly so impressive! If my language teachers in school had cared half as much about my personal learning style as they do, I would be fluent in 7 languages already (jk jk)!
They also are the biggest language nerd ever and have even helped me on language tests for languages they had never studied previously. They pick things up and relay them quickly and nicely.See more recommendations
