About Zach

Hi I'm Zac ! I am from the United States and have lived in many places, including 11 years in New York City. I currently live between New Orleans and Mexico City, but I have also lived in Havana, Cuba and I still travel there for work occasionally. I am, a musician and I have spent the last two years teaching English to Spanish speakers at a high school in New Orleans. My mothers side of the family is of Mexican descent, and while I didn't grow up speaking Spanish, I heard it all the time at my grandmothers house. As an adult, it became an important goal for me to learn the language and I've put a lot of time and effort into this pursuit. I have made countless new friends and relationships through speaking Spanish and I would like to share my knowledge, so that others can do the same.

About the lesson

Did you know that the average person only uses about 800 unique words per day when speaking? With those 800 words, they use an even smaller number of sentence structures to form ideas. I teach a unique method that gets you speaking and understanding Spanish fast, by first studying what I call the "architecture" of the language. By learning the most common sentence structures first, one can gain a clear understanding of what it means to achieve fluency.
General education courses require a large investment of time, and people often give up before becoming conversational. My proven method addresses this by de-mystifying the language and getting you conversing fast. I use a 5 step model that looks like this: 1) De-coding the language, 2) Architecture, 3) Transitions, 4) Person/Tense, and 5) Vocabulary.
My method is designed for English speakers who are just beginning their Spanish Language journey. It will give you all the information and tools you need to start having conversations in your new language within 3 months (or 12 lessons). There are around 474 million Spanish speakers in the world and whether you want to learn for work, or simply to make new friends, learning Spanish is sure to expand your world.
