About Liza
I took an Italian cinema class in college and realized how much I love movies and tv of all kinds. I then decided to look into working in the entertainment industry and it here I am today. I did start off working in films. That lead to commercials, award shows, music videos. Then scripted tv and reality tv. Reality tv is where I have spent the most time, but now I am more focused on the digital space. It's refreshing to be at the relative beginning of digital content.
Most everyone starts as a production assistant, learning all about the different departments, giving a wonderful opportunity to figure which path you'd like to go. I knew pretty much from the beginning, I wanted to go the physical production route. I am definitely left brain, a bit of right brain. I worked my way up that ladder, production coordinator, production manager, line producer, head of production.
To be a part of the creative with my logistical and financial prowess, has been more than I could have imagined when I first started out. I have always known how fortunate I am to work in an industry and positions I love. I know based on my experience teaching many pa's and team, who many use as a reference and always enjoy working with again, that I would be able to be as strong and passionate with you as I have been with them.

I do believe the best way to learn is to do. Saying that may be counterintuitive to getting students, but honesty is at my core.
Dependent on how in-depth you'd like to into the production process, will alter slightly how I teach. For example if you'd like a broader overview, I will simply go through the different phases of production and teach you about the different departments and their purpose using a sample tv budget.
If you'd like the most detail, I would start right from when a show gets a green-light (a show given permission to commence pre-production, casting) to final delivery of the shows to a network or streaming service.
In between those two options, I would discuss with you, your needs and priorities, and create a plan specific to that.
