About Brian
I’m Brian, an Arizona-licensed teacher with experience teaching lower-secondary general science using Italian and British curricula. I taught science at a school in Italy in 2025 and have also taught geography and environmental studies to university students. I have a background in climate research and environmental studies.
I enjoy connecting classroom science with questions about the natural world and helping students build confidence in their own observations and explanations.

I help middle-school students make sense of science through clear explanations, questions, diagrams, and connections to everyday life. Lessons are tailored to the topics your child is studying and the areas where they need more support.
We can work on scientific vocabulary, understanding key concepts, interpreting graphs and results, and explaining ideas in homework or lab reports. Each lesson includes opportunities for the student to ask questions and practice explaining what they have learned.
These online lessons are intended for general science at approximately grades 6–8. I can adapt my teaching to any US or British curriculum.
