About Shaina Rose
Hello! I’m Shaina Rose, a licensed professional English teacher and a Bachelor of Secondary Education graduate majoring in English. I have passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers with a 92% rating in my English major.
I have over one year of ESL teaching experience with both children and adults from different backgrounds and English proficiency levels. I am experienced in assessing students’ English proficiency and creating lessons based on their individual needs, goals, and learning pace.
As a teacher, I am patient, supportive, and committed to creating a comfortable learning environment where students can confidently practice and improve their English. Whether you want to improve your speaking, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, listening, or overall communication skills, I will do my best to make every lesson meaningful and enjoyable.

My Teaching Approach
I believe that every student has different learning needs, goals, and levels of English proficiency. As a licensed professional English teacher and a Bachelor of Secondary Education graduate majoring in English, I use a student-centered and personalized approach to make each lesson engaging, comfortable, and effective.
Before starting lessons, I assess my students’ English proficiency, including their speaking, listening, vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension skills. This allows me to identify their strengths and areas for improvement and adjust my lessons according to their level and learning goals.
My teaching methods include guided conversations, question-and-answer activities, vocabulary building, grammar practice, pronunciation correction, reading exercises, and real-life communication activities. I also encourage students to speak as much as possible so they can develop both their English skills and confidence.
A Typical Lesson
A typical lesson begins with a short warm-up or review of the previous lesson. I then introduce the target topic or skill through examples and guided discussion. After that, students participate in different activities such as speaking practice, reading, vocabulary exercises, grammar activities, or role-playing. I provide corrections and explanations throughout the lesson and end with a short review to check the student's understanding and progress.

What sets me apart is my combination of professional teaching training and practical ESL experience. I have over one year of experience teaching English to both children and adults from different backgrounds and proficiency levels. I am also experienced in assessing students' English proficiency and adapting lessons based on their individual needs.
I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and expressing themselves in English. My goal is not only to teach English but also to help students become more confident and independent English speakers.

My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, college students, and adults who want to improve their English. I can work with beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners, whether they want to improve their speaking, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, listening, or overall communication skills.
I also welcome students who simply want to practice conversational English, improve their confidence, or prepare for English proficiency assessments.
