About Emma
I am an A-Level student living in London. I've been giving tutoring sessions for about six months now, taking both individual students and groups of up to five. I achieved a level 9 in both my English Literature and Language GCSE, and have been predicted an A* for my English Literature A-Level.

Being a very independent person, I like to allow the students to direct their learning. I usually start my sessions by asking either the student or the parent (or both) what they want to work on. This then takes us to a basic overview of the session's topic, followed by a more in-depth analysis. We finish the session with another round of questions to see if we've missed anything, and then if the student feels ready (or if asked by the parent) we end with a small test to see if everything has been understood.
