I’m so glad I got a tutor! The online lessons actually made me enjoy Chemistry again after having a bad experience with it at school. Nadine showed me revision techniques and exam question techniques that I never got taught in school, and helped me make a revision plan for my GCSE (AQA) that I actually did stick to. She checked in with me with reminders between sessions and kept encouraging me when I got stressed. Now I feel more confident in Chemistry and happier going into my exams.

Dr Davis' sessions were always very organised and focused. Every lesson included clear and simple resources, questions, and short specification-based notes that really helped me stay on top of the content. The thing I found especially useful was Dr Davis showed me how to revise different parts of the syllabus. Some topics bits need understanding and problems practice, and other bits required repeated practice and memorisation, especially definitions and reactions. Having that explained so clearly made my revision much more effective and really improved my confidence going into exams.

I was really impressed with her professionalism, experience, and qualifications, but it’s her friendliness and encouragement that stand out the most. I can’t recommend Dr. Davis enough, and I’m thrilled that she asked me to write this recommendation. She taught my two older sisters, and I was very disappointed that she left school before she could teach me too, but then she started tutoring, which turned out to be perfect for me.
