About Kerren
Hi students!
I'm Kerren, I'm a 19 year old university student studying music, with a passion for, and focus on, music journalism.
English and creative writing has been a passion of mine since I was young, and came very naturally to me, however when it came time to sit down and do the revision tasks and homework, I never knew where to start.
As a student with ADHD, I can offer advice and support about how to approach these tough situations, and can explain key concepts and ideas to you. Or maybe, you just struggle to get started, and need someone to sit down with you and talk you through it. Maybe you missed a few school lessons and need someone to go through sections of a book with you. Maybe you struggle reading out loud. My lesson's are flexible, and discussion about what would be best for you is always open.

Lessons would be suited to anyone sitting their GCSE's next academic year or the year after. I can offer support with revision and homework tasks pertaining to their GCSE English studies to help them feel confident and secure in their own abilities come exam time.
I strive to make my lessons interactive and give support on a student-by-student basis. As a university student with ADHD, I may have helpful tips and tricks for neuro-divergent students who need extra support with how to revise.
My main skills are in Creative Writing and Literature Analysis, but I can also offer support with essay structure and how to voice your writing.
Students should bring with them information pertaining their classes, for example a list of what books they're studying, relevant book excerpts or poems for homework tasks, creative writing prompts from class, etc. Again, the exact needs of the student can be discussed to work out the best method for them.
Lessons start at 30 minutes.
