About Emma
I have been reading, and writing through my entire life. I have bounced around and explored various avenues of interest and education, but that is one thing that has never failed me. Currently, i am studying a Level 3 in English, Writing and Media, where i am learning to develop the skills i'd like to pass on to you. More importantly than that, I want to teach you to enjoy what you're writing - to get something out of it.
I'm 19 years old, and can offer a unique perspective on the arts that i feel will relate to our younger generation. I don't claim to be a fanciful, overly qualified writing tutor, but i can offer my advice, along with various excercises designed to get your heart involved in the process.

When it comes to creative writing, there is no real right or wrong. No good or bad, beyond your own judgement. However, learning to write from the heart can not help to improve writing quality, but also your writing experience. I'll teach you how to dig deep into yourself and write what you feel, whether that be through poetry or storytelling. These lessons are informal, and more about developing your own voice as a writer - one of the most important aspects of all. Writing should be fullfilling and enjoying, and most definitely not a chore.
We will begin with an informal chat about the aspects of writing you enjoy most, the reasons you wish you write, and what you're hoping to accomplish within the lessons. If you have some pre-written works ready and finished, i'd be happy to read through them to better understand your own current style. From there, we'll work together to build a custom tailored plan, designed to help you accomplish your goals.
