About Mahayana
I’m a passionate drummer with over 15 years of experience behind the kit and 3 years touring India in a vibrant kirtan band called Anatta Kirtan. Whether it’s high-energy dance music, rock & metal, expressive jazz, or even Latin beats, I love exploring the full range of what drums can do—and I can help you do the same. I also sing and play the drums, so if that's something you're interested in learning to do together, let's give it a go! I have experience on big stages and small, as well as in the recording studio, so I know how to cater the drums to every audience. Alongside the drum kit, I have experience playing djembe and cajon, so we can explore a multitude of different percussion instruments together.

Whatever your level is, I'm here to guide you to level up your drums! Sticking & technique, rhythm, and grooves in any style.
My lessons go beyond just technique. I focus on rhythm essentials, coordination, and creativity—helping you become a well-rounded, expressive drummer (without memorization!). I can also guide you in composing your own grooves and becoming versatile across genres. My specialty is teaching drums that can make people dance!
I also have a lot of experience to share about how to play in a band, so that your drums can really support the music and make the whole band shine!
