About Shiven
I am currently pursuing a B.Sc Neuroscience degree at The University of Winnipeg (am in my 4th year currently). I have worked as a Tutorial Lab Demonstrator for first Biology Labs, where I taught my students basic first-year laboratory techniques and gave lectures on first laboratory topics. In addition to this, I have also worked as a Student Mentor for the International, Immigrant and Refugee Student Services and as a Proctor for Accessibility Services at The University of Winnipeg. I am looking to pursue a Master's Degree in Neuroscience once I graduate

I like to improvise. My teaching methodology is flexible and it revolves around the interests of my students. I don't like to focus just on 'what' I am teaching, I like to ruminate on 'why' I am teaching my subjects too. I want my students to see the world the way I do, to be curious about learning and discover the joy that comes from connecting with people around the world through your knowledge. We don't learn to educate ourselves, we learn to live better lives and see the world with a new vision and dreams everyday.
