About Stellan
I am an aspiring performer who loves to teach private lessons! I have taught lessons to middle school age kids in both group and individual settings and have led many sectionals with people my own age as well. From my years of experience, especially at USM, I am knowledgeable about clarinet literature, music theory, and history, as well as what is expected during different types of auditions and gigs (college, professional, etc.), and can help prepare students for whatever their goal may be.

I especially love to work one on one with people and help them reach new levels of understanding and confidence with their playing! I have an outline of goals, exercises, and focus points for each grade level that I use for reference, but I meet the student where they are at, working through any weaknesses at their own pace and celebrating their strengths as a player as well. I would absolutely cherish the opportunity to teach for you!
