About Briae
I have been in love with history since I was 11 and it has grown for the past 14 years. I've only been able to teach for 2 and a half years, but everyday counts for me! I have had my share of good, decent, and boring teachers but still have managed to take what I've learned and really apply it to today's events and situations. I like to add in as much of my personal experiences to ground the lessons in and have others walk away with more than a textbook's worth of knowledge.

I approach lessons head first, always asking what everyone else thinks without having judgement. Though I do believe that a "dumb" question is never one where someone wants clarification, but when a question has been asked a third time. I teach using words that are understood by the masses instead of heavy terminology. If bigger and more complicated words are needed, I never hesitate to explain as simple as possible. I believe that assuming no one knows what you are talking about is the best way to teach. You feel the need to explain everything so it makes sense.
