About Bobbie

Learning the violin is a rewarding journey, and I am committed to making that journey enjoyable, structured, and successful for every student. With 12 years of violin experience, I bring patience, professionalism, and a genuine passion for music to every lesson.

I believe that every student learns differently, so I create personalized lesson plans based on individual goals, ability, and learning style. Whether you are picking up the violin for the first time, preparing for music examinations, improving your technique, or returning to the instrument after a break, I will guide you with clear instruction and consistent encouragement.

My lessons are welcoming, well-organized, and designed to build confidence alongside strong technical skills. I focus on proper posture, bow control, intonation, rhythm, music reading, and expressive performance while ensuring that each lesson remains engaging and enjoyable.

Students of all ages and skill levels are welcome, from young beginners to advanced players. My aim is to help every student make steady progress, develop musical confidence, and enjoy playing the violin for years to come. You can expect a reliable, supportive, and dedicated tutor who is committed to helping you achieve your musical goals in a positive and professional learning environment.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student's individual goals, learning style, and pace. With 12 years of violin experience, I focus on building strong technical foundations while making lessons enjoyable, engaging, and motivating.

Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes and includes warm-up exercises, bowing and posture techniques, scales, sight-reading, ear training, music theory where appropriate, and guided practice on carefully selected pieces. I provide constructive feedback and practical exercises to help students continue improving between lessons.

My lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate, and advanced violinists of all ages, from young children to adults. Whether you are preparing for music examinations, auditions, orchestra participation, or simply learning the violin as a hobby, I adapt every lesson to help you achieve steady progress and develop confidence, musicality, and a genuine love for playing the violin.
