I found Ugne through Superprof and am delighted that I did. She is exactly the kind of teacher I was looking for: enthusiastic about teaching and violin playing and an excellent listener and observer, which means she tunes into what I want and need from the lessons, rather than just following a standard programme. Perhaps most importantly, I feel relaxed with Ugne, which is probably why I learn so much from her. She’s very encouraging and offers loads of practical tips and advice. I started learning violin late in life and have found Ugne perfect for adults, but I’m sure that her calm, encouraging, highly skilled and individually tailored approach would be great for children too.
