Heya! I’m Michael. I’m a native English-speaker from New York with a BA in linguistics and an eye for detail. Being understood, and expressing yourself well, is perhaps the most important virtue in life. We were put on this Earth to communicate effectively. My dream is to empower others to do exactly this. I will help you develop an English that is so subtle and nuanced that you will be able to express precisely what you mean in any situation.

We will study English for everyday use while also focusing on English tailored for your personal needs, be they business, artistic, literary, Biblical, academic—you name it!

I believe English is the most beautiful language in the world, but I believe it is also the most difficult.

For starters, our language has the largest and broadest vocabulary of any language on Earth, and it’s changing every day! I can give you the skills to navigate the confusion with confidence, perfecting your accent along the way.

Yes, it is possible to be a completely fluent speaker with an imperceptible accent, no matter where you are from, and no matter what your native languages are. Let’s kill it!

While studying Persian, I felt that he fostered an environment where I wanted to do better every day, and gave me all the tools to do so, but without any sense of judgement when life has gotten hectic on my end and I didn't meet all of my goals.
