About Naty
Hi! I'm Natalia, a native Spanish speaker from the Dominican Republic, and I would love to help you feel more confident speaking Spanish.
I have been working as a Spanish-English interpreter since 2024, with experience handling a wide variety of calls, including medical appointments, 911 calls, customer service, government services, and even legal and judicial matters. This experience has helped me develop strong communication skills and a deep understanding of how Spanish is used in different situations and contexts.
I have also taught Spanish formally on several occasions and have helped friends and family members learn and improve their Spanish over the years. I truly enjoy teaching because it allows me to share my language and culture, connect with people from different parts of the world, and see the progress students make as they become more comfortable communicating.
My teaching style is patient, friendly, adaptable, and understanding. I want my students to feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions, especially when practicing conversation. My lessons are relaxed and conversational, while still being focused on helping you make real progress.
Whether you are learning Spanish for travel, work, everyday communication, or simply because you love the language, I will adapt our lessons to your needs and help you enjoy the learning process.

My teaching approach
I believe learning Spanish should be practical, engaging, and adapted to each student's goals. My lessons focus on helping students feel comfortable using Spanish in real-life situations, while also building a strong foundation in grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and comprehension.
My teaching methods
I adapt my teaching techniques to the student's level, learning style, and objectives. Depending on what you need, we may use conversations, guided exercises, reading, vocabulary activities, pronunciation practice, and real-life scenarios. I also encourage students to speak as much as possible, because practice is one of the most important parts of becoming confident in a language.
What a typical lesson looks like
Each lesson can be customized, but a typical class may include:

* Conversation practice based on everyday situations
