About Carmen

Hello! My name is Carmen, and I hold a degree in Modern Languages, deeply passionate about languages. I have significant experience teaching Spanish; I started as a Spanish assistant in France, teaching in public schools to children. Later, I continued teaching at an online school for over 2 years.

I love teaching because I believe learning is diverse; each person has their own skills and processes, and accompanying these processes is fascinating. With my profound passion for languages and my experience in learning processes, I always strive to help others discover the joy of communicating in Spanish in a real way. I love discussing culture, gastronomy, customs, and anything that involves cultural exchange. If you want to learn about Spain or any Latin American country, these are the Spanish classes for you!

In conclusion, I love what I do because I'm always learning something new, and speaking a language opens your mind and possibilities to understand the world we live in a little better. If I can help you discover this, it will be my pleasure!

About the lesson

We'll start with your interests.

The classes are personalized, and the activities we'll develop will be mainly based on them:

Conversation
DELE preparation
Business Spanish
Culture
Communicative approach:
And what are these activities like? They're aimed at developing your conversation skills and helping you overcome any fear or embarrassment you might have when speaking Spanish. The resources are very diverse; we can work with real texts, games, or interactive tools.

Grammar?
Grammar is an essential support for effectively improving your language level. This part, sometimes not so fun for some students, will be present as a support in your learning, but don't worry, grammar can be fun too!

Culture:
If you learn a language, you have to learn to think like the people who speak it. Hispanic culture is essential for developing your communicative ability in Spanish and for navigating the language and society. Plus, it's interesting and very enjoyable to learn about customs, traditions, festivals... even politics or gastronomy.

Don't hesitate to ask if you have any doubt :)
