About Nora
Hi! I’m Nora. I’m from the U.S., and I learned Spanish in the United States before taking my fluency to the next level while living in Mexico for three years through everyday life and real conversations. I have experience teaching both children and adults.
I worked in an elementary school and also taught private one-on-one lessons to adults. I later lived and studied in Mexico for three years where I polished my Spanish. While I was there, I also taught Spanish to foreigners.
I’m patient, professional, and focused on helping students feel comfortable and make steady progress.

A big advantage in my classes is that I learned Spanish from the same starting point as many of my students: as a native English speaker. I know firsthand the challenges that come with learning Spanish: grammar that feels confusing, pronunciation, feeling nervous when speaking, and trying to sound natural instead of rehearsed.
Because I’ve gone through that process myself, I teach in a way that’s practical, clear, and encouraging. I can explain things in English when needed, while helping you build real confidence speaking Spanish.
My lessons are personalized to your goals, whether you’re learning for travel, work, relationships, or simply because you’ve always wanted to speak another language.
