About Lim

AI engineer who builds AI systems that businesses actually run on — and I teach the same skills to owners and professionals who want to stop paying for tools that don't quite fit.

What I've built:

A WhatsApp chatbot for Kaolin that handles real customer conversations — answering enquiries, holding context across a chat, and escalating to a human when it should. If you've ever wished your WhatsApp Business number could answer the same ten questions without you, this is that.
Mobile learning apps in the style of Duolingo, with streaks, progress tracking and gamified lessons.
A web application that marks exam papers automatically — Gen AI evaluation, turning hours of manual work into minutes.

I teach agentic engineering, not vibe coding. There's a big gap between prompting Claude/Codex/Antigravity into something that works once and building a system you can leave running on Monday morning. The second one needs real engineering: structure, tools, error handling, evaluation, and the judgment to know when the AI is confidently wrong. That gap is exactly where most business AI projects die, and it's what I spend lessons on.

I work with business owners who want to automate the repetitive parts of their operations, and working professionals who want AI on their CV before their industry expects it. Lessons in English and Bahasa Malaysia, evenings and weekends available.

About the lesson

Who this is for

SME owners drowning in WhatsApp enquiries, manual data entry, quotations, or reporting — who'd rather build the fix than pay a monthly subscription forever.
Working adults — accountants, marketers, engineers, admin, analysts — who want to automate their own workload and add a real technical skill, not just another certificate.
No coding background needed. Most of my learners start from zero.

How it works

We start from your actual problem, not chapter one of a textbook. Tell me the task that eats your week, and we build the thing that handles it — you learn Python and AI on the way there. You finish with working software, not notes.

What we can cover

Automating the boring work — pulling data out of spreadsheets, PDFs and emails, generating reports, moving information between systems that don't talk to each other.
WhatsApp & customer service chatbots — answering FAQs, taking bookings, qualifying leads, handing over to a human cleanly. Including deployment, so it runs without you.
AI on your own documents — asking questions of your SOPs, contracts, product catalogue or past quotations and getting reliable answers.
Agentic engineering — building AI that takes multi-step actions using your tools, plus the unglamorous parts that matter: testing, guardrails, and debugging when it goes odd.
Python foundations — taught as we need them, in the context of what we're building.
Practical judgment — what AI is genuinely good at, what it isn't, what to build versus buy, and how to avoid burning money on the wrong project.

Format

Online via Google Meet with screen sharing [or in person around Klang Valley]. Usually 1–2 hours weekly, flexible around work schedules. Pace is yours — busy weeks happen, and there's no syllabus to fall behind on.

First lesson

We map your workflow, pick the one process worth automating first, get your setup running, and write your first working code. You'll leave knowing what we're building and roughly how long it'll take.
