About Yasser
My name is Yasser Alaa Mobarak. I’m an award-winning photographer, instructor and judge from Alexandria, Egypt. I won photography prizes from Travel Photographer of the Year, National Geographic, Sony World Photography Awards, Egypt Press Photo, International Federation of Photographic Art, Photographic Society of America and Prix De La Photographie Paris.
My works have been featured in The Guardian, VICE, National Geographic, Deutsche Welle, Digital Camera World Magazine, Amatuer Photographer Magazine, Photographer's Forum Magazine, Street Photography Magazine, Smart Photography Magazine, Digital Photographer Magazine, Adobe Blog and PBS NewsHour.
I’m holder of Artist Distinction from the International Federation of Photographic Art, Licentiate Distinction from Royal Photographic Society, Qualified Distinction from Photographic Society of America and Associateship from Image Colleague Society International.
I was judge at Adobe Youth Voices Awards, China International Photographers Association, Baku Salon, Azerbaijan Press Photo, Romania's National Creativity Contest, The Photographic Angle and Youth Journalism International Contest.
I’m visiting Faculty at Delhi College of Photography and Author at Digital Photography School.

My photography lessons are diverse and designed to suit beginners, intermediate, amateurs and professionals.
You will learn the art of photography, street photography, travel photography, portrait photography, architecture photography, abstract photography, black/white photography, image critique and analysis, how to compete in international competitions and much more. You will not only be a photographer, you will be an artist too.
After my classes, you will have the skills to start your photographic journey if you are a beginner or to jump to a higher level if you are professional.
