About Cecilia
Hello! 안녕하세요!
I am a native Korean speaker living in the UK. My own journey of adapting to a new culture and language gives me a deep empathy for learners. I truly understand your challenges and will support you with patience and warmth.
Literature is my biggest passion. This love for words led to my career as an English-to-Korean translator, translating English books into natural Korean. Because of this, I am highly sensitive to the subtle nuances, emotional tones, and cultural contexts of words.
I teach standard Korean with clear pronunciation. We won't just memorise textbook words—we will explore the culture and soul behind them. Whether you want daily conversations, to read Korean essays, or to speak like a local, I am here to guide you at your own pace.
