About Wendy

Hi, I’m Wendy from Taiwan, now based in Darwin, Australia.

I’ve been teaching Mandarin for over five years across different countries, including Australia, California, Peru, and Taiwan. Working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds has shaped me into a flexible, patient, and engaging teacher.

I speak Mandarin Chinese, Taiwanese, English, and a little Spanish, so I understand the challenges of learning a new language — and how to overcome them.

Beyond teaching, I’m passionate about volunteering, traveling, exploring different cultures, reading, outdoor adventures, playing guitar, and singing. I love bringing culture and real-life context into my lessons to make learning meaningful and enjoyable.

I’m reliable, supportive, and truly passionate about helping students grow. Whether you're interested in learning Mandarin, exploring Chinese culture, or preparing to study, work, or travel in China or Taiwan, I can design customized lessons tailored to your goals.
