About Sung moon

안녕하세요! Hello!

I’m a native Korean speaker who came to the United States about 30 years ago, but Korea has always been a big part of my heart. I still visit Seoul often to spend time with my mom and brother, so I get to enjoy both Korean life and American life—and I love sharing that perspective with my students!

I’m also a HUGE foodie and I absolutely love cooking Korean food. From making kimchi and delicious Korean dishes to discovering new restaurants and talking about Korean food and culture, I believe food is one of the most fun ways to learn a language!

I’m also an experienced medical interpreter, so I’m comfortable helping students learn Korean for everyday conversations as well as professional and medical situations.

My lessons are not just about memorizing vocabulary and grammar. I want you to learn the Korean people actually speak, understand Korean culture, laugh a little, and have fun along the way!

Whether you’re dreaming of traveling to Seoul, want to talk with Korean friends or family, love K-culture and Korean food, or simply want to challenge yourself with a new language, I’d love to help you.

I offer personalized Korean lessons for beginners, intermediate, and advanced students. As a native Korean speaker and experienced medical interpreter, I can help you learn Korean in a practical and natural way.
