About Jae Jin

My linguistic expertise is built on a diverse and professional interpretation career spanning military, corporate, and entertainment sectors.

My expertise began in the Republic of Korea Navy, where I served as an Official Interpreter aboard the ROKS Yi Sun-sin (DDH-975).

Notably, I participated in RIMPAC 2020, the world's largest international maritime exercise, facilitating critical communication between multinational naval forces.

Currently, I operate as a premier freelance interpreter in Melbourne, with a portfolio including:

Aerospace & Defense: Official interpreter for VOIDOT at the Avalon Airshow 2025, facilitating communication for Hanwha Defense.

Corporate Events: Design coordinator and interpreter for the 2026 KIA Global Distributors Convention.

Entertainment: Leading interpretation for major K-pop tours including CNBLUE, Kim Jae-joong, P1Harmony, Xikers, and ARTMS.

By leveraging this extensive background, I offer students a unique opportunity to learn authentic, high-level Korean that bridges the gap between formal business protocols and vibrant, modern conversation."

About the lesson

Whether you are taking your very first steps in Korean or looking to polish your conversational skills, these lessons are designed for you.

I cover everything from mastering the Hangul alphabet, correct pronunciation, and essential vocabulary to engaging in practical, real-world conversations.

As a bilingual professional with a background in interpretation, I focus on teaching 'natural' Korean used by natives.

My goal is to help you build a solid foundation while making the learning process fun, interactive, and highly effective for your daily life."
