About Marcelo
Hi! My name is Marcelo, and I’m an Italian language teacher, translator, and writer with a deep passion for languages and communication. I have a background in Linguistics and have been teaching Italian for over 20 years, helping students from around the world discover not only how to speak Italian, but how to live it. In addition to teaching, I work as a translator and have published books in both Portuguese and Italian. This experience allows me to approach the language with a unique sensitivity to its structure, rhythm, and cultural depth. Whether I’m guiding a beginner through their first Italian sentence or helping an advanced learner refine their expression, I bring the same level of dedication, clarity, and personalized care to every lesson. My background as a writer has also shaped the way I teach: I believe in storytelling, cultural immersion, and building genuine human connection through language.
