About Mariama

I am a qualified language specialist with a strong academic background and a passion for multilingual education. Italian is my native language—I grew up in Italy and spoke it daily at home, in school, and in everyday life.

Beyond being a language tutor, I bring a deep cultural understanding and authentic fluency that comes from living the language. This allows me to offer lessons that go beyond grammar and vocabulary, helping learners connect with the real, lived experience of Italian.

About the lesson

My Italian lessons are structured, engaging, and fully tailored to each learner’s needs—whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills. I use clear, visually rich PowerPoint presentations in every lesson, which we go through together step-by-step. These presentations include key vocabulary, grammar points, cultural notes, and practical examples to support your learning.

You’ll receive a copy of each PowerPoint before or after the lesson, so you can review the material at your own pace, take notes, or revise between sessions. This ensures you always have access to the content we cover and can track your progress over time.

We focus on all essential language skills: pronunciation (working to get as close to native accent as possible), grammar, vocabulary, conversation, listening, and reading. If you want to focus on a specific area—whether it’s improving your speaking confidence, mastering grammar, or preparing for an exam—I will tailor the lessons accordingly to meet your goals.

Whether you're learning Italian for travel, school, work, or personal enrichment, I’ll make sure each session is productive, enjoyable, and customized just for you.
