About Daksh
Hi, I'm Daksh!
I am currently a PhD researcher in Mathematics at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, and an IIT JAM 2023 rank holder. While I spend my days working on advanced mathematical proofs, my true passion lies in making mathematics accessible, intuitive, and fun for younger students.
My own love for mathematics sparked back in the 8th grade. Before that, it was just another subject, but once I started seeing the logic and patterns behind the theorems, I realized that math isn't just about passing exams—it's the ultimate tool for solving problems all around the world.
My mission as a teacher is to help students experience that same "aha!" moment. I know firsthand how intimidating board exams can feel. By bringing the discipline, structure, and analytical rigor of my daily research into our sessions, I help students shift away from stressful rote memorization and toward genuine, confident understanding.

My classes are strictly tailored for high school students (Classes 9th to 12th) preparing for their board exams (CBSE, ICSE, and major State Boards). Whether a student is struggling to pass or aiming for a perfect 100, I adjust the pace and complexity to match their specific needs.
Teaching techniques and methods:
Diagnostic First Steps: I always begin by assessing a student's baseline. We identify and fix any foundational gaps from previous academic years before rushing into new material.
Interactive Problem Solving: My sessions are highly collaborative. I avoid long, one-sided lectures. Instead, I demonstrate a concept and immediately have the student solve similar problems alongside me, correcting their logic in real time.
Board Exam Strategy: I focus heavily on the structural presentation of answers. I teach students step-by-step writing techniques designed specifically to maximize marks in subjective board exams, ensuring they don't lose points on careless formatting.
Real-World Context: Whenever possible, I connect abstract concepts to real-world applications to keep the student engaged and show them why the math actually matters.
