About Lucas

I am a guitarist, graduate of the Bordeaux Conservatory with a double major in Jazz and Amplified Modern Music. My journey then took me to New York, where I studied at the Manhattan School of Music under the guidance of Mike Moreno. After several enriching years of teaching at the Paris Conservatory, I have now returned to my hometown of Bordeaux.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of performing in numerous projects and groups, which has allowed me to build a broad and versatile musical background. This experience enables me to adapt to a wide range of styles and to share this openness with my students.

My teaching philosophy is centered on confidence, creativity, and personal growth. Whether you are a beginner discovering the guitar for the first time, or an advanced musician wishing to refine your skills, I tailor my lessons to meet your goals — regardless of age or level.

Alongside teaching, I have also been active as a performer. With my former ensemble, Black Bass Quartet, we were awarded the Grand Prix du Jury FIP & Action Jazz 2020, a recognition that remains a highlight of my career.

About the lesson

I adapt my teaching style to suit both beginners and advanced guitarists, ensuring that each lesson is tailored to your needs and goals. My methodology is flexible yet structured, designed to help you progress with confidence while enjoying the learning process.

Whether you are playing for pleasure, preparing for competitions, or looking to improve your performance with your band for upcoming concerts, I can guide you individually or work with your entire group.

Lessons can take place either at your home or at my place near Victoire. In addition, I offer lessons in music theory and harmony for those who wish to deepen their understanding of music.

For international students or English speakers, lessons are also available in English.
