About Robert
I’m an independent security researcher and OSCP candidate with hands-on experience in penetration testing and ethical hacking. Over time, I’ve built and documented more than a hundred lab write-ups across platforms like Hack The Box and Proving Grounds, focusing on real attack simulations and problem solving under pressure. My lessons reflect the same practical mindset I use in research: clear explanations, step-by-step guidance, and patience with every learner. My teaching approach is fully hands-on and based on real-world offensive security practice. I believe that cybersecurity is best learned through doing not just reading so each session focuses on practical exercises, step by step problem solving, and guided walkthroughs inspired by real penetration testing scenarios.
A typical lesson starts with a short explanation of the concept (for example, network scanning or privilege escalation), followed by a live demonstration and then a guided exercise where the student applies what we covered. I adjust the pace depending on the student’s experience level from complete beginners learning how to use Linux commands to more advanced learners preparing for certifications like the OSCP.
What sets me apart is that I approach each topic like a mentor, not just an instructor. I’ve solved hundreds of lab machines and developed my own scripts and methods, so I share insights that go beyond theory the kind of small details that make a big difference during real tests. My goal is to help students build both technical skills and the mindset of an ethical hacker.
