About Gerard
As an international educator of about 8 years, teaching in Barcelona and Mexico City I believe in an immersive learning experience which encourages a global growth mindset in students.
I was born and raised in Ireland and went to university in English where I studied a BA in French & Italian. I have lived in 7 countries so far (ask me about them!) and speak 4 languages (as me about those too).
My interests include traveling, concerts, movies, meeting new people and most recently cooking (although bear in mind I am still learning haha).

As an educator of 7 years I believe the most dynamic and immersive way to learn English is through a concept based curriculum. This means that not only can my lessons be adapted for each person, our classes will incorporate interesting current events, cultural aspects as well as fun trends while balancing this with grammar/vocabulary in a way that you won't even notice you're learning until you pass all your exam!
