• Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

  My area of passion is communication skills, so that's why I'm concentrating on them. I've always had a great love for languages, especially English. My English teachers always gave me high marks and urged me to get into this line of work. As per my father's wishes, I originally pursued a corporate road despite my passion. I taught English communication in the evenings in addition to working in a business setting.
  It only took me two years to figure out that teaching was what I really wanted to do. I have never felt more satisfied than when I helped students reach their objectives by developing their communication skills. This insight motivated me to devote all of my energy to perfecting my craft and making sure that my students could get beyond any obstacles of communication abilities.

• What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

  My motivation to become a teacher comes from both my personal experiences and the inspirational people in my life. I was fortunate to have instructors who valued my ability and encouraged me to pursue my love of languages, especially English. Their encouragement motivated me to dedicate the rest of my life to being a teacher.
  The main source of motivation, nevertheless, came from my pursuit of self-awareness. Despite working in the corporate world, I was most happy in my evening studies.
  To put it succinctly, I am motivated to teach because I want to positively impact people's lives and I am inspired by my mentors and experience.

• How does your work help society?

  In my capacity as a career coach, corporate trainer, and communication coach, I hope to positively influence people's lives by:
  
  *By helping people communicate clearly and confidently, I help them discover and express their unique voices.
  
  * In my role as a corporate trainer, I concentrate on fostering the soft skills necessary to create cooperative and encouraging work cultures. I support the development of leadership, collaboration, and stress reduction in the workplace so that everyone feels appreciated.
  
  *I assist clients in overcoming any barriers that may be preventing them from achieving their goals as a career coach. I aim to assist them in realizing their full potential and achieving their career objectives.
  
  *Confidence can make a big difference in people's lives. Helping someone gain confidence in leadership or public speaking is especially rewarding. This newfound self-assurance improves their relationships and overall happiness.
  
  *By teaching respectful and empathetic communication, I help create environments where everyone feels heard and respected, which improves both workplace dynamics and community relationships.
  
  *Good communication enhances personal relationships and mental health. When people can express themselves effectively, they build stronger connections and enjoy greater well-being. I find great joy in supporting this positive change.
  
  In essence, my work is about helping individuals succeed both personally and professionally. By providing the right tools, fostering inclusive environments, and improving well-being, I contribute to a society where everyone can thrive.

• If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

  Simon Sinek and Shade Zahrai immediately come to my mind when I think of role models for my work. They exemplify the traits and values that I hold dear.
  
  1. Simon Sinek: His "Start with Why" philosophy emphasizes how crucial the purpose is to achieve success. This is consistent with my own coaching methodology, in which I assist people and organizations in discovering their central mission to motivate good leadership.
  I like Sinek's ability to distill complicated concepts into simple ones. Millions have been inspired by his books and TED Talks, which highlight the value of effective communication. This encourages me to hone my abilities and support others in making sure their words are received and comprehended.
  
  2. Shade Zahrai: She encourages everyone to realize their potential, particularly women. Her emphasis on self-improvement mirrors my dedication to assisting customers in overcoming obstacles. Her kind approach is something I have always tried to inculcate in my coaching sessions.
  Shade's emphasis on resiliency and ongoing development influences my work. Her lessons on conquering obstacles serve as a constant reminder to me that growth on both a personal and professional level takes a lifetime. This kind of thinking is essential to my work as a career coach because I help clients see obstacles as chances for personal development.
  
  To be frank, Simon Sinek and Shade Zahrai inspire me to be a better communicator, leader, and coach. Their insights reinforce my commitment to empowering othersand motivate me to strive for excellence making a meaningful impact through my work.

• Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

  I have a range of pastimes outside of teaching that help me stay motivated and involved. In addition to helping me grow and be more creative, these hobbies help me unwind.
  
  - Music is probably my first love. I can spend hours lost in good music. Music has been my escape since childhood, whether it's by listening to my old favorites or finding new artists.
  
  -I have a deep love for food and enjoy spending time in the kitchen. I often experiment with different recipes and flavors - be it cooking or eating! I simply love food - whether it's international cuisine or traditional Indian recipes.
  
  - I devour books in all genres with great enthusiasm, including biographies, fiction, non-fiction, and self-help. Not only is it an escape but it also improves my ability to communicate and keeps me up to date on various viewpoints and trends, all of which are very helpful in my jobs as a coach and teacher.

• Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

  Working with a remarkable woman in her early 40s, Meera, was one of the most fulfilling experiences of my career. Meera had suffered from extreme burnout and had taken a leave of absence from her esteemed position at a global corporation. She experienced worry and a sharp decline in self-esteem as a result of believing that her communication abilities were insufficient for her role. So she walked out.
  Meera was doubting her skills and wondering if she would ever be able to resume her high-profile work when she came to me. During our first meetings, we concentrated on establishing a secure space where she could freely communicate her worries and difficulties. It was evident that her communication abilities were negatively impacted by her anxiousness and low self-esteem.
  
  We conducted a thorough assessment of her current communication skills and identified specific areas for improvement. Soon she felt more purposeful and had a sense of direction.
  We began by going over the fundamentals of clear, well-structured communication, emphasizing storytelling. Meera started to see results after breaking these skills down into doable steps.
  We practiced public speaking, presentation techniques, and interpersonal communication through one-on-one coaching. I helped her improve by giving her ongoing feedback and helpful criticism.
  Rejoicing in minor successes was essential too. She steadily rebuilt her self-esteem as each progress, no matter how small, was recognized and applauded.
  With consistent work over several months, Meera underwent an incredible change. She was able to carry herself with grace and clarity after she had her confidence back. She experienced less anxiety and began to see her communication abilities as a strength rather than a problem.
  
  After a while, Meera not only went back to her old job, but she did it well enough to get promoted to an even better one. She continues to thank our coaching sessions for her increased feeling of purpose and confidence, and despite her hectic schedule, she frequently reaches out to discuss her accomplishments.
  Coaching Meera has been immensely satisfying. Her story of overcoming self-doubt and exhaustion to achievement and empowerment is a potent reminder of the positive effects that targeted coaching and support can have.
