About Enrique
I am a Colombian music producer, artist, and guitarist who produces records and teaches music for a living. I have been teaching guitar for 5 years, and playing since I learned to walk. I've studied with world class musicians and producers in styles ranging from Rock and Pop to Jazz and Latin at some of the most prestigious music schools in North America. My students have been very happy with my methodology and have seen huge growth since they started taking lessons!

My teaching methodology is based on practical applications of concepts. I will teach you concepts that we will then apply to real life scenarios, to ensure that you will be ready to apply what we learn at a gig, recording session, or jam with your friends! The focus is tailored towards what you want to accomplish with your guitar playing - I will teach you concepts that are relevant to the styles that you play, and will make sure that you understand the style well. My philosophy is that you should learn from the music that inspires you so that you enjoy the process the most. The idea is to have fun and not make it a boring and technical process, but rather an inspiring and entertaining journey that will make you want to play every day!

Perfect! Enrique is very approachable and adaptable. He was quickly able to get a grasp for where I was in my musical journey, allowing him to tailor the content of the class to fit my goals. His experience in Jazz school shines through his ability to bring the theory in a very digestible way, which then helps me "connect the dots" between the music I listen to and the learning material.
