About Amelia
Hi, I’m Amelia Dawson, with 6 years of experience teaching computer programming to school and early college students. I studied at University of Oregon, where I built strong foundations in computer science. I specialize in making coding simple and beginner-friendly while also guiding advanced learners. I have helped many students complete projects and improve their performance. I received the Coding Excellence Award for my clear teaching style. Seeing my students solve problems confidently makes me feel proud. Outside teaching, I enjoy coding and exploring new technologies.

In my programming lessons, I focus on making coding easy, logical, and enjoyable so you can build strong understanding and confidence. I will help you understand the topic you have been having trouble with, through clear explanations, useful examples, and a lot of guided and dynamic practice. I teach Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, PostgreSQL, and introduce AI concepts with real-world projects. I also include Project Assistance, Skill Development, Job Interview Preparation, and Advanced Learning so you can grow beyond basics. Together, we’ll make a subject you enjoy while improving your problem-solving and coding skills. You can ask doubts anytime during the lesson and send your assignments before class so I can prepare accordingly.
