About Shuyi
你好! My name is Shuyi, and I am a Chinese tutor from China. I have been teaching Chinese in America for the past three years, and I am proud to say that all of my students who have taken the AP Chinese exam have received a score of 4 or 5.
As a native Chinese speaker, I have a deep understanding of the language and culture, and I am passionate about sharing it with others. I believe that learning Chinese is not only about memorizing characters and grammar rules but also about immersing oneself in the rich culture and history of China.
In my classes, I create a supportive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable practicing their language skills. I use a variety of teaching methods, such as multimedia resources, authentic Chinese texts, and interactive activities, to make the learning experience fun and effective.
