About Molly

I am a native Chinese Mandarin speaker with the Mandarin proficiency certificate at teacher's level (as you may know, not every Chinese speaks standard Mandarin; some are with strong accents). I just graduated from the University of Groningen and I am now thinking about making teaching Chinese as a foreign language my career. I have already one year experience in teaching Chinese online. My students are generally the adults from all over the word. I teach them Pinyin and tones, helped them with the grammar and conversational skills. I can also teach HSK course by request.

About the lesson

I tailor the teaching methods based on the levels and the requirements of the students. During the past 1 year, I developed a special way to help students practice Pinyin, especially tones, which I got a lot of positive feedbacks from my students. For the conversational practice, I am good at keeping the conversation flow. I can direct the conversation in a way that suits your current language level, and you will get plenty time of practicing speaking. I will also blend the new words we've learned into the conversation, so that you can practice and master it in a natural and relaxing way. I am patient, enthusiastic, upbeat and responsible. The greatest thing for me is to see you make progress step by step.

Perfect! Molly is simply the best teacher I could have hoped to have. For real. I am so happy I have sent her the request. She is extremely professionnal, dedicated, serious, friendly and reliable. She always tries to make the most of each class- which she prepares and does research for if necessary -and goes at your rythm, whether it is fast or slow. She most definitely isn't trying to make your progression go slower to get more classes. Believe me, if you have goals, she will make you reach them.
