About Maria

Hey I’m Maria, a native Spanish speaker from Mexico, currently living in Australia. I’m passionate about helping people learn Spanish in a practical, friendly and structured way.

My lessons are adapted to each student’s level and goals, whether you are starting from zero, improving your conversational Spanish, preparing for travel, or simply looking to become more confident speaking the language

About the lesson

My lessons are structured to help you develop all the essential Spanish skills while keeping the class practical, engaging and personalised to your goals.

A typical 60-minute lesson will include:

10 min – Conversation & warm-up
We start with a relaxed conversation to practise speaking and review what you have already learned.

15 min – Grammar & vocabulary
Clear explanations of grammar combined with useful vocabulary that you can apply in real-life situations.

10 min – Listening & comprehension
Practice with natural spoken Spanish, different situations and authentic expressions to train your ear.

15 min – Speaking & pronunciation
Guided conversation, pronunciation practice and role-play based on everyday situations such as travelling, ordering food, meeting people or having a casual conversation.

10 min – Practice & review
We reinforce the lesson, correct common mistakes and finish with practical exercises so you know exactly what to practise next.

As a native Spanish speaker from Mexico, I can also help you understand how Spanish is actually spoken in everyday life, including natural expressions, pronunciation and cultural context.

Every lesson is adapted to your level, pace and goals. Whether you are a complete beginner or already speak some Spanish and want to become more confident, my aim is to create a comfortable environment where you can practise without being afraid of making mistakes.

I tailor each lesson to your level, interests and personal goals. Whether you are starting from zero, learning Spanish for travel, wanting to communicate with Spanish-speaking friends or family, or simply looking to become more confident in conversation, we will focus on what is most useful to you.

Lessons are suitable for beginners and intermediate learners of all ages.
